Lady Of The Grapes

Went there for lunch on a Saturday, not that many people there. The food was excellent, however, a bit pricey, e.g., about £6 before service for a slice of bread (cut in half, admittedly tasty) and butter. That said, the food is excellent, and considering the location, it's not cheap to maintain a place like that, so it's understandable. The food is excellent and well prepared. I especially liked the braised sweetbreads, but we also got the artichoke and the halibut, which were also great. The wine list is, as you would expect from a place like this, well curated, and goes well with the food. I guess in terms of ambience, if you're looking for it to be a bit more lively, then lunch at 1:30pm on a Saturday isn't the ideal time.

I booked Lady of the Grapes for a birthday dinner with drinks. My group of four sat outside on a summer evening and was impressed by the food - every dish was well presented with an amazing combination of flavours! The staff are welcoming and friendly, very knowledgeable about the wines. They have a fantastic selection of quality wines. Everyone loved their drinks! I would like to add a personal thanks to Madga, Sasha and Monique for making it such a special and memorable evening with their excellent service. We will definitely be back again!

Was absolutely nice experience. The wine they recommended you will never gonna regret and they are the people who really love and really know about wine. We met Timon, Josh, Sasha and Anna today, and was my birthday actually today, my friends brought me cake and they find me a nice candle… very friendly staffs and I definitely feel unique experience….

Stumbled upon this hidden gem in Covent Garden on a Friday night and it was such a great find! The bar specializes in natural wines, and the bottle artwork is really unique and fun to look at. The whole place was filled with candlelight, with an entire wall of wine bottles behind the bar – super lively and full of atmosphere The food is special and tasty, and all the staff are super friendly and helpful! Would definitely try it again!

If you're an avid wine drinker then you must come meet the crew here. Shasha is most hospitable; Timon will keep you engaed with his family's vineyard history and then Momo steals the show with her knowledge of all things wine. If you give her just a hint of what you prefer, she will pair the perfect wine to your liking. Hats off to Lady of the Grapes. Cheers.

I can’t believe this place has been opened for 7 years and I just discovered it! Shame on me! It is a very special, cosy, intimate, classy restaurant/wine bar, with a wonderful selection of great wines, reasonably priced, and very tasty food that matches perfectly the curated wine selection they offer. We had a great Chardonnay from Bourgogne, and it was so good we stayed with it throughout the evening. I am on a sort of diet, so I was not very hungry, but we did order a selection of charcuterie ( a truffled jambon blanc, a spianata calabrese, and the wild boar saucisson, served with mini capers and mini gherkins). All of this was delicious, but my best friend, Patrizia, was still peckish, and, when she noticed the rabbit in mustard sauce, she had to have it, so I happily agreed to abandon my good intentions of dieting. The rabbit was absolutely perfect, delicious, strong flavoured, yet delicate and subtle with a sauce that demanded to be mopped with their great, warm, bread. A special mention to our fantastic sommelier/wine expert/ mentor, and good listener, Ed. He was so patient, competent, passionate, it was a pleasure to engage with him throughout our visit. This has been such a perfect experience, we cannot wait to go back and taste all the other wonderful wines they have, and the rest of the food menu too! Thank you guys, we will come back very soon!

This French bistro and wine bar is a true gem! From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was perfect—cosy and intimate with exceptional service. The wine list? Simply divine. Trust me, you’ll want to take Carole’s recommendations; her wine pairing is second to none. We kicked off with sublime oysters and an impressive cheese and charcuterie board, before diving into some of the standout dishes: the rich Gnocchi & Dorset Crab Meat, the flavourful Monkfish Bouillabaisse, and the tender Braised Beef Short Rib. Each dish was more delicious than the last! And don’t forget to save room for dessert – you’ll want to pair it with one of their heavenly sweet wines. Whether you’re after a casual glass or a full-blown feast, you’ll find something to love here.

We stumbled upon this place while walking around Covent Gardens. Not a very big place, but very friendly people and a good selection of wine and a small bite . Definitely a very nice place to grab a glass of wine and just relax!
